Omniplex Cinemas - Sustainability Bins
I was approached by Irish marketing agency Fifty Three Six to create an animation for Omniplex Cinemas.
The Challenge: Omniplex Cinemas needed a quirky and light-hearted animation to inform customers of how to dispose of their waste in their new sustainability bins.
The Solution: I proposed a quirky 2D character animation with sections of kinetic typography to drive home key messages. Using Omniplex’s brand colours and reference imagery of their confectionary I then designed style frames of key moments in the film. I also created a pencil sketch storyboard of the entire script and got this signed off by the client. Once green lit, I produced a rough animation, and then the final polished animation, allowing for feedback along the way.
Result: The client loved the animation and it is currently being played in Omniplex Cinemas all over Ireland. They liked the illustrations of their confectionary products so much that I was asked to provide them as Vector Illustrations so they could have them printed on their Sustainability Bins!
